To make it practical for Australian producers to sell into Asian markets, and for buyers there to source from Australia, through a partner who understands both sides and works on clear, written terms.

Yuri Keun

Founder & Managing Director

Yuri majored in Mechatronics Engineering and has a background in data science and control systems.

Yuri previously worked in Rio Tinto's Brisbane office, gaining first-hand experience of Australia's mining sector.

Yuri is familiar with both Australian and Korean business environments, and founded BlackBay Resources to bridge the commercial gap between Australian producers and buyers in Asia.

What we do

  • Commercialisation

    Taking Australian products to market in Asian markets: market research, buyer development and introductions.

  • Resource trading

    Negotiating and contracting the sale of resources and industrial materials, including longer-term supply and offtake arrangements.

  • Cross-border supply chains

    Coordinating between producers and buyers across specification, documentation and delivery.
